Launched in 2007, the RGP Emerging Designer?s Showcase highlights the fashion industry?s brightest new design talent and innovators. The event, which now attracts more than 1,000 attendees, provides editors, buyers and fashion industry experts with a cutting-edge forecast from a diverse group of emerging designers.
The fashion forward designers, whose collections are selected for inclusion in the RGP group show, are mostly independent business owners who create and sell their customized and limited fashion lines to stores and boutiques. This year?s designers also have garnered some media attention, but wish to expand their lines to more retail outlets.
