The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) and the Northern Electricity Distribution Company (NEDCo) are implementing the reduced tariff regime.
The reduced tariff regime was agreed during negotiation between government and organised labour after initial hikes in price of power.
According to power distribution companies, the reduction in tariffs, which will apply to both residential and non-residential customers, will be backdated to commence from December, 2015 when the tariff increments were announced.
