EC legal chief, Jennifer Anguyo, said that the Election body extracted National ID registration exercise data which the ministry of internal affairs collected last year.
?You do not have to worry about voters registration update as long as you registered for the national ID. We extracted data and the main display will be in June,? she said.
Anguyo was speaking at a one day regional workshop on the ongoing update of the national voter?s register which EC organized for political leaders and security personnel in the North Central Region.
Jenina Sabiiti, the regional election officer said four new voting regions have been created bringing the total number to 12. This is aimed at taking servies closer to people.
Luweero District FDC Chairman, Bwanika Bbaale noted that the updating officers were poorly facilitated and had little morale due to lack of appointment letters.
