Eagles in killer mood for Pharaohs

Nigeria’s Super Eagles who arrived Dubai yesterday in readiness for the friendly international against Egypt are in killer mood as they intensified training for tomorrow’s match. Eagles’ Head Coach, Stephen Keshi, is expected to link up with the the squad today as he has already taken off from the United States, where he is holidaying with his family. The team will resume training at 4:30p.m Dubai time and 1:30 Nigerian time ahead of the game against Egypt. So far, there are no injury worries and the players are in good mood and are looking forward to the friendly tomorrow.
Meanwhile, Eagles and the Pharaohs are to share the same accomodation facilities in Samaya Hotel and Resorts in Dubai for their friendly game which comes up tomorrow.
Match organisers say there was no need for separate hotels as the game is a friendly and should create an atmosphere of friendship between officials and players of both teams. NFF officials are also expected in town today ahead of the encounter tomorrow and they will also be quartered in Samaya Hotel.
Facilities in the hotel are quite commendable, as it’s a five-star hotel, complete with gyming and other facilities that sportsmen require to stay in tune for match situations.
The game proper between Nigeria and Egypt will be played 8pm Dubai time and that is 5pm Nigerian time, officials of the organisers also confided in us. The stadium to be used will be decided by Tuesday night as there are four international stadia in Dubai and none has yet been picked, as both countries have to agree on the staium of choice. Despite that the Super Eagles have already started training in one of the stadiums ahead of the encounter.
