Ebusua Dwarfs? forward, David Gomez insists the club has set her sight on winning the CAF Confederations Cup title and nothing will stand in their way.

After more than a decade in the wilderness, the Cape Coast club has been quick to highlight the ultimate as target for the competition they star as debutants.

Gomez told GNA Sport that ?It is my first experience ever in a continental competition and I am very excited to play my part.

?We know it will be tough to win the trophy because no team will be easy. I used to watch Atletico a long time ago when I was little, now I get to play against them and we are ready because we work very hard.?

Dwarfs play host to Petro Atletico at the Robert Mensah Stadiun in Cape Coast on Sunday, a game that could define their path in the competition they profess to have the quality to win.

He said ?Everything is going ok. I like this team because we have a great bond, one spirit and we work very hard always. All we want is to reach the finals and take the trophy.?

Dwarfs require a convincing win over Atletico, who last visited Ghana in 2004 when they lost 1-2 to Asante Kotoko in a Confederations Cup group phase meeting. GNA
