IPhone users who have access to the Internet are now able to freely download or update apps in the App Store in the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK), foreign residents in the capital of Pyongyang found earlier this week.

An error message would pop out on the phone screen when one started downloading new apps in the App Store.
However, earlier this week, Apple users with iPhones or iPads found their access to update or download of newly released apps no long denied, though at times problems may still occur during the downloading process.
Meanwhile, Android phone users have not been affected. Installment or update of apps in the Android Market has not ever been restricted. Enditem
