Nigerian singer and G.O.O.D Music artiste, D?Banj has launched his latest song, Do Agric, It Pays? in Addis Ababa.
The song is a campaign song that seeks to urge African leaders to commit 10 per cent of their national budgets to agriculture since it has the potential of creating millions of jobs for africans.
As reported by MSN Nigeria, D?banj?s song was launched as part of a South Africa base Civil Society Organisation ?The ONE? campaign effort to push political leaders to adopt better policies that would boost productivity, increase incomes and reduce poverty.
D?Banj also indicated at the launch that should the necessary attention be given to agriculture, we africans will not only be feeding ourselves but also the world at large.
Present at the launch was Cote D?ivoire and Manchester City player, Yaya Toure and The ONE Africa Director, Dr Sipho Moyo.
