The former Everton and Manchester united coach, David Moyes had his first win at Real Solsidad as the new manager for the spanish la liga side. Real solsidad beat newly promoted side Elchie 3-0 with a hatrick from Carlos Vella, the Mexican international and also the former Arsenal player in England.
David Moyes first match with the spanish side was against Deportivo lacurona where he had a goaless game as an away game. The scottish coach praised his team for a wonderful game especially Carlos Vella for the hatrick.
David Moyes coached Everton for 9 years at Gudison park and moved to Manchester united for the 2013/14 leauge season for 5 years contract but was terminated by the management of the team due to poor performance,by placing 7th on the league table.
David Moyes prior to his appointment at Real solsidad was wanted by many European clubs including inter Milan, Galatasary in Turkish league.
