COCOBOD says it would continue to undertake development projects that would strengthen and improve its relationships with the people in its operational areas and step up living conditions.

Mr Festus Ceasar, Administrative Manager of the Kaase In-land Port, under Cocoa Marketing Company, a subsidiary of COCOBOD said it is the avowed aim of the Company to continue to leave legacies that would consolidate its relationship with catchment area communities.
Mr Ceasar was speaking at the handing over of a 10-seater water closet place of convenience, constructed by the company for the people of Old Asokwa, one of the communities where COCOBOD?s warehouse facilities are located in the Kumasi Metropolis.
He said the Company had since the1950s created a sustainable relationship with the people in the Asokwa Community and would work hard at strengthening it for mutual benefits.
The Administrative Manager asked the people to take advantage of the scholarship scheme of the Company to support their children?s education.
He said the corporate entity would also improve the road network in the community.
Nana Fe Baa-moah II, Chief of Asokwa, commended the Company for the project and appealed to the management to help to rehabilitate roads and drains in the community.
Nana Baa-moah urged COCOBOD to rehabilitate the old place of convenience which is in a very deplorable state to ease pressure on the new one.
