Camidoh, the acclaimed Afrobeats sensation from Ghana, marked his presence at the prestigious Black Entertainment Television Awards held at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles.

Despite not securing a nomination this year, Camidoh expressed gratitude for the opportunity to participate again, reflecting on his nomination and performance at last year’s BET Awards. Looking ahead optimistically, he aims to leverage his upcoming releases to garner more accolades and success in the industry.
During his stay in the United States, Camidoh has been actively engaging in media appearances to promote his latest single, ‘Nothing Lasts Forever’. The song has resonated deeply with fans and established itself as the definitive anthem for heartbreak.
In preparation for his forthcoming body of work, which is scheduled for release later this year, Camidoh has been building strategic alliances and visiting key industry players such as Audiomack and BMI, underscoring his commitment to advancing his career on the international stage.
Camidoh, known offstage as Raphael Camidoh Kofi Attachie, first gained prominence in 2018 when he signed with Grind Don’t Stop Records. Subsequently, he achieved global acclaim with hits like ‘Sugarcane’ and its remix. His outstanding contributions to Afrobeats were recognized with the Afrobeats Song of the Year award at the 2023 Ghana Music Awards, and he was a nominee in the ‘Viewer’s Choice: Best New International Act’ category at the 2023 BET Awards.
