?The host of the most-listened Radio programme in Ghana, Drive Talk on Joy Fm, Nathaniel Kwabena Anokye Adisi Popularly known in Show Biz As Bola Ray, Has Advised Managers to take their jobs very seriously since the welfares of their Artist are the trademark of their superb supervision of their performance.?
He was speaking to The Moment newspaper in an exclusive interview at his plush empire entertainment office over the weekend.
Bola Ray was speaking the state of the Ghana music industry and what needs to be done to uplift the image of the country.
According to him, with sarkodie going very far to win the BET award is a plus for our music industry. He mentioned some of the few guys in the game doing very well as Tinny, Sarkodie, El, Guru, and Kwao Kesse among others.
When asked about what must be done to get to the top, he said there is the need for more collaboration with our counter parts from Nigeria, indicating that, they (Nigerians) have a larger market and we must break through to take advantage of the market and the crowd they have there.
?Some Nigerians are complaining bitterly that we are taking the market from them, so they are trooping in and out of the country to do collaboration with us, so why are we also complaining that they are gradually stealing our opportunities of shinning over them.?
He mentioned that Ghanaians must come together and learn to understand the system that they operate, stressing that Ghana has very good talents which need to be identified and unleashed in a way so as to lift them up.
Bola Ray said music producers, managers and agents have to work extremely hard to assist their artist in the art and showbiz industry, calling on them to dedicate some time to research and have a first hand information about the information circulating in their carriers to keep them updated all the time.
In a response to why Empire entertainment is gradually becoming the headline event organizing firm in the country after chalking much success in their subsequent shows, he said it was all a testimony of how God has decided to bless him and his entire home with is goodness and mercies.
