After setting up the Public Relations Department and having served TV3 media house for many years, the Editor of the Daily Dispatch-Mr Ben Ephson has served a strong notice that he is quitting the Wednesday Newsstand programme on TV3.
He served the notice today, 3rd April, 2013, when he appeared on TV3 live Newsstand programme which was hosted by Roland Walker.
Mr. Ephson attributes his decision to the inability of management of TV3 to understand that he independent.
He cites instance where he comes to TV3 and sees a red flag and writes about it in his newspaper, only for management of TV3 to be unsettled about it.
?I cannot come to TV3 and see a red flag and do nothing about it,? he laments.
According to him, he published issues concerning TV3 and other media outlets carried it. This did not sit well with the management of TV3.
As from next week, don?t expect to see me on TV3 Newsstand programme, he hints.
Also present on the programme was the President of Ghana Journalists Association (GJA), Affail Money.
