Yes,I kept quiet for a long time trying to make sense on what happened or reason why it should be in the first instance.
I observed,pondered ,calculated but my mind cannot comprehend the rational of my EXECUTIVE GOVERNOR who is a first class Auditor accepting the GREEK GIFT from PRINCE ARTHUR EZE .
Please do not get angry with me ,just hear me out..
Prince Arthur Eze is same man that we all dreaded because of his days with Abacha and his involvement in charlatan politics.
Prince Arthur Eze is the same man that sponsored TONY NWOYE ,He is a man that give money like Father Christmas which is a plus ,but my trepidation is why should the FIRST CITIZEN OF THE STATE,the Chief Security of the state accept the first help Arthur is giving to the state and it is on Security?
So what happens if tomorrow he became an outlaw ? does it mean he,ve bought his GET OUT OF JAIL CARD with this gift?
How about any of his boys were caught doing what normally the state security will frown upon and may mean pulling down the house or taking the suspect to the cooler ,then the PRINCE of UKPO who bought our security with 1 million dollars decided to call the Governor and ask him to remember that he has bought the security, and with that he want his boy or boys released ,do we think that the Governor will have the Gonads to say NO ? after all an igbo saying provides “otara amu ebunu ji ibi ugwo”?
Why must Prince Arthur Eze specifically channel the money to security ?, why not to education,environment ,welfare or any other areas that needed funding ,but why SECURITY ?.
It bothers me because our Governor can not be placed in bondage of dogfathers and never shall we be under the caprices of some men that think without them nothing goes,we have out grown that era and we are not going back but if you think you will be going , my generation will not come with you.
My Governor ,i beg you sir,do not take all this poisoned chalice from the altars of SHYLOCK to avoid paying back with POUND OF FLESH .
As a sound Auditor ,you know how to channel the money into better areas and have the ministry send Prince Arthur Eze a thank you note ,if i am to speak , it can be moved into EDUCATION or HEALTH and that will neutralise whatever holdings he think or will think he bought into our security.
