Former Ghanaian Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia has publicly celebrated reports of national footballer Mohammed Kudus joining Tottenham Hotspur.
In a July 10 social media post, the self-described Tottenham supporter wished Kudus success in his medical examination, calling the West Ham United attacker “our Ghanaian starboy” and expressing excitement about the transfer.
British media indicate the clubs have agreed on a deal, potentially securing Kudus on a six-year contract with the UEFA Europa Conference League holders. The 24-year-old’s move would mark a significant step for Ghanaian football talent in Europe’s top leagues.
