Bangkok is the seat of South East Asia’s largest aquatic park known as the Sian Ocean World which is a huge underground facility built in the northern part of the city of Bangkok.

There are more than 400 species of aquatic animals found in this aquarium which include Crustaceans and even penguins. The whole facility is divided in to 12 different zones and each zone accommodates specific species of the aquatic animal. Apart from visiting this palace to watch fishes, sharks, penguins and other sea animals in their almost natural habitat, you can also choose from diving with the sharks or feeding dolphins and penguins. Walking through the tunnel of Sian Ocean World is an amazing experience and a must do for every traveller to the city of Bangkok.

Another unique and amazing place to visit in the city of Bangkok is the Queen Saovabha Memorial Institute, also known as the Snake Farm. This is a place where the anti venom is researched and produced for some of the most poisonous snakes in the world. This snake park was founded in 1932. Researchers here milk the venom of snakes and ten inject the same venom into horses. The anti venom produced by these horses is then harvested and purified to be used on humans. You can watch a number of world’s most poisonous snakes kept in a glass jar here. Visitors can also watch the live action of milking the venom exercise with a western hard rock musical background here. All in all, it is a different experience which you can only get in Bangkok.
