The Uganda Premier League (UPL) vice chairman David Sserebe revealed the club?s boycott position.
Sserebe was speaking after a meeting, at African in Kampala, that had representatives from 13 out of 16 clubs taking part in domestic soccer?s premier competition.
Simba, Bright Stars and Police were not represented at the meeting but rallied behind the move through e-mail messages.
Sserebe said: ?If these games are not broadcast live, the league will be suspended immediately.?
The official added that as UPL, they have not received any written document from court stopping Azam from broadcasting the games.
On Tuesday, Azam?s move to air a live broadcast of the game between SC Villa and Sadolin Paints at Nakivubo collapsed.
This is after the firm was reminded of a court injunction against the football governing body FUFA.
Recently, FUFA struck a deal with Azam TV. Under the deal, Azam acquired the naming and broadcast rights for the competition.
But UPL dismissed the arrangement insisting that they still own the television rights.
UPL?s partnership with the competition, that has over the last couple of years been dogged by a series of controversies, is due to end next year.
