Ghana’s “godfather of hip hop” releases single ahead of new album due out mid-November.
Los Angeles, CA… At 12:01 am today, African hip hop sensation Asem released his highly anticipated single
“Big Johnny” to rave reviews from fans around the world.

?Big Johnny? also marks Asem’s formal entrance into the US market. “It’s a big song and it’s definitely going
to make a big entrance into the Big Apple,” Asem said in an
interview from his home in Ghana. “America, I
present to you, ‘Big Johnny.’ ”
“Big Johnny” is the third single to be released from Asem’s third studio album, “Tough Times Don’t Last ?
TTDL,” due out in mid-November both digitally and on CD.
“Big Johnny” is on sale now through iTunes, Spotify, Amazon, Google Play, Rdio, Xbox Music, Rhapsody and
Sony Music Unlimited.
Asem will embark on a world tour in 2014.
