Goethe Institut invites all to her third ArtSpace RoundUpArticle | June 22, 2012 – 12:11am | By Iquo Eke

ArtSpace RoundUp is a series of events on artistic practice and the space in which it happens, coordinated by the Dream Arts & Design Agency for the Goethe-Institut Nigeria.
This edition will feature the works of the photographer Adolphus Opara and the poet Jumoke Verissimo who both collaborate on a presentation of their work generated as sign posts along personal journeys undertaken and experiences documented in the sense of the physical, spiritual, professional, emotional, social and even mundane aspects of daily living.
The artists will be examining the sense of dislocation that comes from changes in location, changes in personality and other manifest effects of continuous displacement. The works presented for ?Journeys? will serve as back drop to a roundtable discussion on time, spatial/social displacement and artistic/architectural practice.
It holds at the Goethe Institut Nigeria, City Hall, Lagos on Saturday June 23, 2012. Entry to this roundtable discussion is free.
