A Brazilian Android app that allows jealous girlfriends to spy on their boyfriends has been removed from the Google Play app store amid complaints about privacy abuse. ?Rastreador de Namorados? (that?s Portuguese for ?Boyfriend Tracker?) sends the user location updates and copies of text messages. Wait, it gets creepier. There?s also a function that allows the stalker girlfriend to silently call her boyfriend?s phone so she can listen in on whatever deviant act he might be up to (you know, like playing Xbox and eating microwave pizza). While the app is no longer available through Google?s store, suspicious girlfriends can still download it from the developer?s website. And, of course, there?s always the ol? looking-through-the-boyfriend?s-phone-while-he?s-in-the-shower trick. Not that we ever tried it. [Source]
