Anambra State will hold a two-day capacity-building workshop for the 31 state Political Liaison Officers (PLOs) on?19 February 2014, at the Mayroses Hotel, Awka.?
Several eminent speakers will deliver addresses and lectures on broad issues such as “Concept of Leadership and God Governance”,? “Political Relations Management and Networking”, “Understanding the Concept, Principle and Process of Delegated Authority”.? Prof Stella Okunna, chief of a staff to Gov. Peter Obi is billed to speak on “The Roles and Responsibilities of Political Liaison Officers.”
Anambra SSG, Hon. Oseloka H. Obaze will deliver the keynote address at 930a.m.
The PLOs whom are drawn from Anambra’s 31 political constituencies will amongst other things serve as foclpoints for monitoring the social welfare scheme for the aged in their respective constituencies.?The workshop is being coordinated by Hon. Fidel Okafor Special Adviser to the Governor on Political Matters.
