On July 27, 2002, OMAR KHADR tossed a grenade at U.S. troops, mortally wounding speer, who was a member of the army’s elite 1st SFOD-D, commonly known as DELTA FORCE.

CanIn a Canadian magazine cover featured a smiling Omar Khadr, a convicted terrorist who murdered U.S. Army medic Sgt. Christopher Speer—and many Americans are outraged.

In May, Greta Van Susteren spoke with a solder who served with Speer, who described how they were tracking Khadr’s father, whom he described as “bin Laden’s finance guy,” and instead cornered Khadr and a group of terrorists with him. “They didn’t want to talk,” Sgt Lane Morris told Van Susteren. “They wanted to go out in a blaze of glory.”

Describing how prosecutors were undercut by Obama administration officials in Khadr’s case, Morris said “Omar was given a 45 year sentence by the military commission, but the Obama administration made a deal with him, that he would do 8 years, or the military commission, whichever was least.”

KHADR served a year at guantanamo before being transferred to Canada for the remainder of his sentence.

Ezra Levant, author of “The Enemy Within: Terror, Lies and the Whitewashing of Omar Khadr,” described to Foxnews.com how Khadr became a celebrity of the left.

“Khadr’s transformation from a racist, sexist, Jew-hating terrorist, into a celebrity and folk hero is the result of nearly 10 years of combined propaganda by leftist journalists and lawyers – with Khadr as the willing participant,” Levant said. “They have managed to transform a pathological murderer into a ‘victim,’ providing Al Qaeda with a great PR victory.”

Stunned Americans and Canadians have called for a boycott of MacLean’s Magazineover its “outrageous and sickening” cover story.
