Airtel Ghana today re-opened its flagship Customer Experience Centre at its Ring Road shop. The newly refurbished shop is to provide first class, targeted services to its customers.
This is part of Airtel?s vision of continuously improving on its customer service delivery as well as improving the organization?s responsiveness to its customers.
According to the Director of Customer Experience at Airtel Ghana, Yacoba Amuah, this move was one of many customer care initiatives to be rolled out by Airtel. She explained that with the growing and diverse needs of its customers, it was important that the company?s customer care centre aligned with meeting these needs. To this end, she said, the ring road shop, the first in the series, has been segmented in such a way that customers with specific needs will identify and receive assistance in the shortest possible time once they enter the shop.
On her part, the Head of Customer Life Cycle Management at Airtel Ghana, Amanda Archer, explained that they had revamped the Airtel Premier lounge and incorporated an Airtel Money corner as part of the new layout of the Ring Road shop. That, according to her, was to simplify transactions and reduce the time required by customers to complete these transactions in a congenial atmosphere and within the shortest possible time.
?The dedicated Airtel Premier lounge is part of the differential service we are offering our Premier customers, to ensure that these groups of customers are given VIP/Premier treatment whenever they walk into our shop. The Airtel Money corner has also been specifically created to cater for all Airtel Money related issues, including Pin change, cash in and out, Airtel Money registration, etc. Customers will be served by dedicated agents that have been specifically trained to handle all customer issues?, she said.
She added that Airtel as a company valued the opinion of its customers and so ?this move has been shaped by what customers have told us ? they want easier access and assistance.?
