League leaders, Aduana Stars will travel to Sekondi to battle Hassacas to solidify their hold on the log in the week ?five fixtures of the First Capital Plus Premier League on Wednesday.
Aduana Stars, unbeaten this season will hope to maintain a clean sheet following their 1-0 victory over returnees Great Olympics in Accra at the weekend.
Hassacas will seek to pick up the pieces to an unimpressive start to the season by counting heavily on home support to ride the challenge. A win for the host will push them within the top four whiles a maximum point for Aduana will extend the gab from Ashgold and defending champions Asante Kotoko.
At Accra Sports Stadium, Hearts of Oak who are yet to find their spark will engage Liberty Professionals in a contest that pits the latter as favourites. The Dansoman lads walk into the match without play-maker Kennedy Ashia who is currently in the camp of the Black Meteors but still starts as favourite on current form.
Elsewhere at the Obuasi Len Clay Stadium, second placed Ashgold will face Bechem United. Ashgold are undoubtedly one of the impressive sides this season and on paper, Bechem has a tough duel to handle but a win in their last encounter against the Phobians should motivate them to push ahead.
In another interesting contest, Asante Kotoko will travel to Wa to face All Stars. With both teams on seven points each and occupying the third and fourth position respectively, it appears to be a fixture of equals.
Coach Mas Ud Didi Dramani is expected to parade the likes of Jackson Owusu, Abeiku Ainooson and Ahmed Toure to punish their host.
In other matches, WAFA will take on Medeama SC at the Kpando Park whilst, Berekum Chelsea lock horns with Olympics at the Golden City Park.
Inter Allies welcomes Edubiase FC at the Tema Park whereas BA United slug it out with Heart of Lions at the Sunyani Coronation Park.
