The Phobians noted for their comfortability at their favourite playing grounds, Accra Sports Stadium will continue its ban following its misconduct last season by their officials, players and supporters during a game against Edubiase.

Herbert Addo?s side will open their campaign against the debutants that placed second in last season?s FA Cup.

WAFA has no injury situations in their camp, but the Phobians will be missing the services of three key players including Soulama Abdoulai due to his involvement with his country Burkina Faso at the Africa Cup of Nations in Equatorial Guinea, Vincent Atinga and goalkeeper Seidu Mutawakilu currently in the Black Meteors camp in Egypt.

Though, the Phobians look prepared to end a six year drought of winning the trophy, their opponent will prove difficult if their performance in the middle league games is anything to go by.

The returnees led their qualification into the elite division after beating Eleven Wise 1-0, Gold Stars 2-1 and Dunkwa UTD 4-2 while on the other hand the Phobians have also enjoyed a good pre-season by playing 32 friendly games, winning 25, drawing five and losing two.

Defending champions Kumasi Asante Kotoko, will open their title defence on Sunday, against Aduana Stars in a tough duel at Dormaa.

With the Porcupine Warriors having a great pre season, goalkeeper Stephen Adams who won the best goalie last season will march his side on to victory especially when their opponent hardly win in Dormaa.

However, with the Porcupine Warriors eager to break that plague, a huge task falls on Coach Mas Ud Didi Dramani as he parade the likes of Jordan Opoku, Abeiku Ainooson and in- form striker Ahmed Musah to punish the homers.

Elsewhere at the Obuasi Len Clay Stadium, returnees Accra Great Olympics will be guest to Ashantigold SC who were impressive last season whilst B.A. United, also returning to the premiership engages Bechem United in another cracker at the Coronation Park in Sunyani.

In other thrilling fixtures Heart of Lions will host New Edubiase at Kpando on Sunday, with Hasaacas and Liberty Professionals sluging it out in Sekondi, whereas Inter Allies welcome Medeama to Tema and Wa All Stars face Berekum Chelsea at Wa.
