Access Bank Ghana, the 2013 bank of the year is aiming to be among the top three banks in the country by 2015.
ln a media interaction with journalists at the East Cantonment branch, Mr Dilapo Ogundimu, Managing Director of Access Bank said their aspiration underpins why the company is rebranding itself to be widely embraced by the public.
“Rebranding means stepping up our game and expanding our network to meet the current challenges in the banking industry,? he explained.
Mr Ogundimu, said as part of the rebranding process, Access Bank would explore improved channels in its bid to reach out to the wider public and most importantly to strengthen the capacities of small scale and medium enterprises.
He implored Ghanaians not to look at the development of Small and Medium Enterprises as the sole responsibility of banks alone but a collective interest of all.
The rebranding package of Access Bank includes expanding its branch network, financial empowerment for SME’s among others.
These the bank aims to achieve through strategies like networking, technology services and product innovation and development through sustainable banking.
