The Abola Piam We Royal Family, also known as the Abola Piam Tunma Dynasty of Ga Mashie, has reaffirmed that the Sempe Stool has no jurisdiction over the Omanjor area in the Ga North Municipality, insisting that it remains the lawful custodians of the land.

The family has declared Nii Ayittey Tackie I, who was enstooled on April 13, 2023, as the only legitimate chief of Omanjor-Dwenewoho, and warned land developers and residents against dealing with individuals they describe as unauthorised claimants to traditional authority.

The elders further cautioned the Sempe Mantse, Nii Adote Otintor II, and the Chief of Sowutuom, Nii Osabu Akwei I, along with their supporters, to desist from what they describe as attempts to undermine the legitimacy of Nii Ayittey Tackie I. They accused them of attacking his integrity and challenging his position as the recognised chief of the area.

According to the Abola Piam Tunma elders, they remain the rightful custodians of Omanjor lands and maintain that Nii Ayittey Tackie I was duly enstooled to occupy the Omanjor stool.

They also warned against the activities of individuals allegedly involved in illegal land sales and misrepresentation of chieftaincy authority.

The family stressed that recent disputes, including tensions arising from the August 2025 Homowo Festival clashes, have further strengthened their resolve to protect their authority and demand accountability, while also calling for justice and transparency in ongoing security investigations.

They maintain that past court decisions, including High Court and Appeal Court rulings, support their claims to Omanjor and surrounding lands, insisting that the Sempe Stool’s jurisdiction does not extend to the area.

The elders say they are prepared to take legal action to defend their position and protect what they describe as their ancestral inheritance.
