New Referee’s Committee Chairman Randy Abbey
Newly appointed Referee?s Committee chairman Randy Abbey aims at making the selection process of referees in Ghana more transparent.
The Executive Committee member was handed the post on Tuesday and replaces Osei-Tutu Agyemang who was accused of being biased towards Asante Kotoko.
And Abbey says he looks to tackle his new role as an impartial chairman while the committee works towards making their work more transparent.
?This job at the end of the day is not about neutrality, it is about impartiality,? he told Accra-based Asempa FM.
?It should be about the competence of the committee and the fact that it is doing a professional job.
?People will also begin to appreciate the work better if the appointment process of a referees is more transparent.?
