Eight construction workers were killed in the Philippines Monday when a wall of a warehouse they were building collapsed, police said.
Eight others were injured in the accident in Guiguinto town in Bulacan province, 30 kilometres north of Manila, local police chief Ernesto Cruz said.
The wall collapsed onto the barracks of the workers, who were resting at the time of the accident, Cruz said.
Rescue operations were being conducted for four workers believed to be still trapped under the rubble, he said.
