4th NABA Summit To Be Held In Oslo

The Norwegian African Business Association (NABA) will host the Norwegian-African Business Summit, the largest Nordic business conference on Africa, Thursday 30 October 2014 at the RaddisonBLU Scandinavian Hotel in Oslo. The summit will welcome African and Norwegian leaders from across industries to the fourth summit of its kind. The leaders will convene under the theme ?Mapping the African Infrastructure Landscape.?

?The Summit builds on the strong African Norwegian ties and a commitment to continue to develop this relationship. We are extremely honored to welcome the President of the Republic of Ghana, H.E. John Dramani Mahama, and the Norwegian Minister of Foreign Affairs, B?rge Brende,? says Eivind Fjeldstad, the founder and managing director of the Norwegian African Business Association. ?Investment in infrastructure accounts for over half of the recent improvements in economic growth in Africa. We know it has the potential to achieve even more. That is why infrastructure is on the agenda.?

35 confirmed speakers, and approximately 350 participants will convene with African and Norwegian policy makers, business leaders, and high-level delegates. The summit hosts a unique opportunity to meet with more than 20 African ambassadors.

The conference will address the main challenges and opportunities facing African infrastructure development. The parallel sessions will focus on case studies within chosen sectors: impact investment, renewable energy, agribusiness and aquaculture, oil and gas.
