Nigerian authorities late Tuesday received 257 Nigerians who were stranded in Libya following a failed attempt to cross over to Europe through the volatile North African country.
The Nigerians voluntarily returned to their country and were received upon arrival at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos by officials.
They were assisted back to Nigeria by the International Organization for Migration (IOM), according to an official of the National Emergency Management Agency. Enditem
