Research institutions using Twitter data can apply for Twitter Data Grants.
Twitter, in collaboration with Gnip, has launched a pilot project, Twitter Data Grants, through which it will give a handful of research institutions access to its public and historical data.
The program aims to connect research institutions and academics with the data they need by giving selected institutions free and easy access to Twitter datasets.
The deadline is March 15.
