Bastie Shocks Lokkosou in Terrible Knockout

Ghana’s boxing sensation, Bastie Samir (17 – 0, 1, 15Ko’s), handed Lokossou Raoul of Benin, a catastrophic round two knock-out in an international Catchweight contest in the early hours of Sunday, at the Bukom Boxing Arena, Accra.

Bastie, who was making a return to the ring after a year and half absence, recorded an impressive win over Beninois boxer, to further advance his cause for a world title shot.

Lokossou, was very impressive in the first round, throwing lots of punches at the undefeated Ghanaian boxer.

But Samir, once again demonstrated his quality in the second round, when he caught Lokossou with a big left hook which dazed the Beninois and sent him to the canvas.

The ringside medical team quickly rushed to his aid, to salvage his life.

Samir, in a post match interview said, his dreams of winning a world title was on course adding that, Ghanaians should expect more bouts this year especially with his new promotional outfit, World Map Promotions.

Bastie is expected to fight Lawrence Nyanyo in a championship bout in the coming months.


Confederation Cup: Nkana Trashes Kotoko

Kumasi Asante Kotoko succumbed to a 3-1 defeat at the hands of their Zambian counterparts, Nkana FC, in the third group game of this year’s Confederation of Africa Football (CAF) Confederation Cup played at the Nkana Stadium on Sunday.

Yacouba’s sublime free-kick could only serve as a consolation goal for the Porcupine Warriors, after Ronald Kampamba’s double and Freddy Tshimenga strike was enough to secure all three points for the home side.

Nkana started the game on the front foot as they mounted pressure on the Porcupine Warriors, who stood firm in defence in the early stages.

Nkana Captain Tshimenga scored the opener for the home side, when he converted from the penalty spot after Kampamba was brought down in the penalty box.

This lasted for only three minutes as Yacouba restored parity for the Porcupine Warriors on the 26th minute mark, when he struck a beautiful free kick past Nkana’s goalkeeper.

A defensive blunder from the Kotoko lads handed Nkana a clear sight as captain Tshimenga beautifully teed up Kampamba, who struck the ball past Kotoko goalkeeper Felix Annan.

Yacouba, was very lively for the Porcupine Warriors in the first half and nearly scored his second on the day, but his ferocious strike flashed narrowly wide off the post.

Kotoko started the second half on the front foot as they searched for the equalizer but Nkana stood firm as they mounted on a swift counter attack as Kampamba scored his second on the day.

Kotoko, were left stunned by the strike, but were determined to make an impact, but their attacking prowess proved futile as Nkana secured all three points.

Nkana would face Kotoko in the return fixture at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in the next 10 days.

B Magic Empire, Yaa Jackson in trouble over recent dealings

Yaa Jackson, a budding musician, may face legal action, after signing a five-year deal with B Magic Empire, a record label, owned by Black Stars striker, Richmond Boakye Yiadom.

A demand notice sighted by GNA Entertainment stated that, Asamoah Enoch, “former” manager of Yaa Jackson, entered into a five-year managerial agreement with the young artiste in April, 2018.
But recent developments over her new deal with B Magic, is a clear breach of contractual agreement per the deal.

”It’s our client’s instruction to inform you that, your actions are clear, blatant and gross violation, of the agreement signed between our clients on the April 9, 2018 and same avails our client the authority to take legal action against you and the B Magic Empire,” excerpts of the letter stated.

The letter also advised the musician to fulfill her aspect of the contract or face an impending legal suit for breach of the said agreement, damages and cost.

GOC Wishes Kotoko Well Ahead of NKana Match

The Ghana Olympic Committee (GOC) on behalf of all the various National Sports Federations, has wished Asante Kotoko well, ahead of their upcoming CAF Confederation match against Nkana FC in Zambia on Sunday, February 24.

Kotoko face a stern task against the Zambian giants and would be looking forward to a positive results, which could propel them to the next stage of this year’s competition.

A statement signed by the President of GOC, Mr. Ben Nunno Mensah, showers praises on the Porcupine Warriors as they remained Ghana’s only shinning light in international sports.

“We wish to congratulate Dr. Kwame Kyei, who speaks little but does a lot, coach C.K Akunor, who I worked with at Hearts of Oak and the entire Management Team and players for what they have been able to achieve so far.

“We at the GOC are very hopeful that Kotoko’s outstanding performance would pave way for our football activities to resurrect again and Ghana would take her rightful place on the continent.”

The statement also urged the team to prove their worth and make the country proud, as they appealed to Ghanaians to render their unflinching support for the team.

Mujahid Ahmed Bello, also known in showbiz circles as Fancy Gadam, will on March 1, release his second single of year, which features multiple award-winning artiste, Kuami Eugene.

Born John Charles Elikem Kofi Van Dyck, JC-Dyck is a Ghanaian-Nigerian versatile recording artiste, songwriter and a performer from Elmina in Ghana.

He is one of the fastest rising artistes in Africa considering his exceptional unique vocals.

According to JC-Dyck, he had a strong passion for doing music when growing up, so as early as six years, he was a drummer in church and started singing in church at nine years.

He also revealed his Junior High School education at Springs Preparatory School at Ho, as he proceeded to the Ideal College, Madina, Accra.

JC-Dyck revealed his dream of putting Ghana on the World map and believes the stage was set for him to live his dream of doing music.


Born Mordey Patricia Sedinam Kafui, Pacy is a Ghanaian Afro-beat act, songwriter and a performer from the Volta Region, Taviefe Aviefe to be precise.

According to Pacy, she started music when she was young and that her lovely voice was from the fact that she received voice training from some of her friends and family members at a tender age, as she also sung in church.

She attended Ho-Kpodzi EP Junior High School and had her secondary education at Modern College of Commerce.

Pacy revealed that, she was an emotional singer and was inspired by Efya from Ghana, Tiwa Savage from Nigeria and Jamaica’ Spice.

“I understand that the music game is tough but with God, hardworking, determination, respect, originality and consistency, I would get to the top.”


Born Godsway Tome, Lega is an afro-pop prodigy, songwriter and a rapper, who hails partly from Anloga and Aflao in the Volta Region.

According to the afro-pop prodigy, he started professional music in 2014 and has performed on big stages in the Volta Region.

He had his basic education in Ho and currently studying Information Technology (IT) at the Ho Technical University.

Lega started exhibiting signs of an all-around entertainer at an early age, playing drums and also dancing in school.

Lega envisages taking his career to another level especially with World Map Records coming on board to propel him to greater heights.

Notably, these three artistes have released their maiden single under their new record label. Lega’s ”Dem go hear am” bang, Pacy’s controversial ” Koti Beka” and JC’s love tune ”Philomina”.

Cryme Officer Picks 27th April for the Release of His First Album

Prince Isaac Debrah Arko, known by his stage as “Cryme Officer” will on April 27, 2019 release his first career album.

The album dubbed “Revelation” has 20 songs, with nine collaborations and is expected to thrill music loving fans.

The afro-pop artiste, who won the best lyricist in the just ended Close Up “Break the Barrier”, is gradually gaining grounds in the music industry.

The 27 year-old musician, has been tipped to make greater exploits in the music industry considering, his unique rap prowess.

In an interview with the “Cryme Officer”, he revealed that his aim wa to make an enormous impact in the music circles, as he would be seeking to release back-to-back hits for his fans.

“Most of the tracks on the album are inspirational as well as some dance tunes and I hope it my fans would enjoy it,” he said.

The album was produced by Yaw Spoky, an upcoming music producer and songwriter.

Botsyo Receives Support from Wire Weaving Industries

Wire Weaving Industries Limited, a leading producer of agro-industrial products, have supported Ghanaian Para athlete, Raphael Botsyo Nkegbe, with a sum of GHc5, 000, as he prepares for this year’s All African Games and Toyko 2020 Paralympics.

According to Mr. Yasser Aschkar, Managing Director of Wire Weaving Industries, the donation would cater for expenditure for the phase two of his local training, which would be one-month residential training at Cape Coast, where he would have access to Cape Coast Stadium track.

He added that, they supported Botsyo in 2016 during his preparations towards the World Para-athletic Championship, adding that, they believed in his project, which seeks to win gold for Ghana.

Nkegbe, said his target of winning gold for Ghana at the 12th African Games set for 23rd August to 3rd September 2019 in Morocco as well as the 2020 Paralympic Games in Tokyo was on course.

“Winning Gold medal would not only add up to Ghana’s medal top but will also give hope and recognition to young and upcoming para-athletes propelling them to aim higher,” Nkegbe said.

He also appealed to individuals, corporate Ghana and the Government to support his project as he believes will yield dividend for the country.

Nkegbe, was also grateful to the National Paralympic Committee (NPC) and the National Sports Authority (NSA), for giving him the needed assistant to facilitate his training program.

Bastie Has Eyes Fixed on Lokossou Knockdown

Bastie Samir has targeted a round three knockdown in his upcoming bout against Lokossou Raoul at the “Asamoah Gyan Fight Night 2” on Saturday, February 23, 2019, at the Bukom Boxing Arena, Accra.

The highly rated Ghanaian boxer is expected to stage a comeback into the ring after his last outing in 2017, when he defeated Braimah Kamoko popularly known as “Bukom Banku”.

According to the World Map Promotions signee, he was very poised for the upcoming bout and promises another thrilling outing come Saturday.

“I’m ready for the fight, I started training long ago and I promise Ghanaians that, the bout would not go past the third round and am working hard towards achieving the set target,” Samir told GNA Sports.

Talking about his Beninois opponent, Bastie was optimistic about his chances of winning despite knowing little about his opponent
boxing prowess.

“I don’t know much about him but I’m ready to face anything he throws at me and I would take him on pound for pound and defeat him,” Samir said.

The main bout on the “Asamoah Gyan Fight Night 2″, would see former International Boxing Organisation Champion, Emmanuel ”Gameboy” Tagoe face off against Russia’s Vyacheslav Gusev for the vacant International Boxing Federation International lightweight titles.

Shatta Wale to Bring Young Musicians Together for a Workshop

Charles Nii Armah Mensah, known in showbiz as “Shatta Wale”, has stated his readiness to help Ghanaian musicians who are struggling to make a hit.

According to dancehall artiste, he was ready to organise a musical workshop to teach musicians new ways of making hit songs as well generating revenues.

On his facebook post, Shatta Wale said, “all those musicians finding it difficult to get a hit song in Ghana and make money, please I am telling you today that there is a way”.

He also encouraged interested musicians to register for his new program that it yet to be unveiled as he target to change their fortunes in the music industry.

The award winning Ghanaian artiste, had made significant strides in his career over the past few years, as he remains one of the hottest in Ghana and on the continent.

Ghana Can Make A Great Difference in All African Games 2023

Derek Abrefa, the nation’s top seed in table tennis, believes Ghana can successfully host and dominate the 13th edition of the All Africa Games slated for 2023.

According to the veteran table tennis payer, the current administrative heads of various sporting disciplines would play a crucial role for a successful outing at games.

”We have all it takes to successfully host the game, but I encourage heads of various sports association who have assumed office recently to emulate what the previous leaders were doing and work hard.

”We saw their efforts, sacrifices to lift the image of sports in Ghana and I am boldly say that if all leaders emulate what their predecessors have done, Ghana’s name would not be forgotten in the history of the games,” Abrefa said.

He also encouraged to upcoming athletes to maintain their focus and persevere during the hard times.

”I encourage my young and upcoming ones to continue working harder. The journey to the top is not easy, but it’s worth it. Stay focused and know that there is a light at the end of the tunnel.”

Abrefa also relished a successful outing by Team Ghana at next year’s Olympic Games in Toyko.

”The Ghanaian team compared to the previous competitions, I would say we have really improved a lot and if all players would be committed, we would make an impact on the globe,” he ended.

Table Tennis Junior World Champions to be hosted by Ghana

Ghana has been handed the mantle to host two major International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF) tournaments in April.

The two World Championships; the World Junior Circuit (WJC) and African Junior and Cadet Championship (AJCC), would take place in Accra from the April 1-5 and April 7 to 13, 2019 respectively.

This was made when a delegation from the African Table Tennis Federation (ATTF), led by its President, Khaled El-Salhy paid a courtesy call on the Minister of Youth and Sports, Mr. Isaac Asiamah, who stated that, the government was willing to restore its lost glory by staging the tournaments.

The minister was grateful to the ITTF and ATTF for choosing Ghana to host such important tournaments as the country possess great potentials in table tennis.

“We are ready to host the world and Africa in April and all arrangement in terms of security, accommodation and transportation will be addressed.

“We are also grateful to ITTF for deciding to provide table tennis equipment which has already been shipped to Ghana for the tournaments. For us, we want to use sports as a tool for job creation and that is why we want to develop others sports and not focusing on football.

“I must also let you know that table tennis is one of our priorities sports that we intend to use to create jobs for our youths. I must also commend the leadership role showed by Mawuko Afadzinu and we want to assure him our support,” Mr. Asiamah stated.

Mr. Khaled El-Salhy, President of ATTF in his remarks stated that, Ghana is one of the powerhouses of table tennis in the 1970s and in the last five years, the Mawuko Afadzinu-led GTTA board has been making frantic efforts to restore the glory of Ghana in the sport.

“We know the potential of Ghana in table tennis and I was sure that with the staging of this kind of tournament, the country has the chance to unearth talents that will bring back the glory of Ghana.

“ITTF and ATTF will continue to support Ghana and with the staging of the tournament, Ghana will be the focus and this will surely project the image of Africa and Ghana,” the ATTF boss said.

The WJC is one of the ITTF junior circuits, where players across the globe amass points to qualify for the end-of-the-year World Junior Finals, while the AJCC is Africa’s qualifiers for the World Junior Championship as well as a platform to select African team for the World Cadet Challenge.

Kwame Baah, a Ghanaian hip-hop artiste, has debut his new single for the year titled “fell in love”.

The versatile music artiste, has been in the limelight over the past years for his unique prowess in rap music but has decided to do something new in his new song.

According to the Baah, he was giving out something new to his fans and would not follow the recent trend of music.

“This is a pop song and it is a bit different from the songs we have been listening lately.

“We are in that era of the music industry where musicians mostly follow trends because someone else did the same kind of song and it blew up, but that is not my kind of thing,” Baah stated.

Woname and Trieno Hold the Fort for Ghana in Algiers

Kelsey Woname and Isaac Trieno have been selected to captain Ghana’s fencing men and female teams, respectively at this year’s Junior Africa Cadet Championship.

The tournament to be held in Algiers, Algeria from February 18 – 24, would see various teams across the continent battle for honours in different categories.

The local fencing governing body, Ghana Fencing Association, have selected 11 members to represents Ghana.

It includes eight fencers and three officials at the six-day tourney.

Team Ghana is expected to depart for the games on Thursday, February 14, 2019.

Tagoe Recuperates for his February 23 Bout with Gusev

Emmanuel “Gameboy” Tagoe has recovered from a hand injury and now scheduled to fight Russia’s Vyacheslav Gusev for the vacant International Boxing Federation (International) (IBF) and World Boxing Organisation (WBO) Africa Lightweight titles, slated for February 23, at Bukom Boxing Arena, Accra.

The ”Asamoah Gyan Fight Night 2” originally scheduled for January 26, was postponed due to the injury sustained by the former International Boxing Organisation (IBO) Lightweight Champion.

Tagoe, has impressive record of 29 wins and has been defeated once and was impressive in his last outing in the ring when he dominated Namibia’s Paulus Moses in a Africa lightweight contest in October last year.

The 33-year-old Russian boxer on the other hand, would be looking to stage a magnificent comeback in the ring by winning the title.

He currently holds a record of five losses, out of 30 fights with eight coming by way of knockout.

Gusev, a former IBF International Super Featherweight Champion, back in September, knocked Yotchanchai Yakaeo from Thailand in an impressive fashion in a final eliminator bout.

The ”Asamoah Gyan Fight Night 2” would also witness some thrilling bouts on the night with popular Ghanaian boxing sensation, Bastie Samir take on Benin’s Lokossou Raoul.

First GHATUSA Games, Accra Technical University Crowned Kings

Accra Technical University (ATU) were crowned the overall best team in this year’s Ghana Technical Universities Sports Association (GHATUSA) Games.

ATU hosted and won the games after picking up 15 gold, 13 silver and eight bronze medals, making a total of 36 medals, followed by Takoradi Technical University with 14 gold, 10 silver and nine bronze medals totaling 33 medals.

Koforidua Technical University came third with five gold, six silver and seven bronze medals also totaling 18 medals.

Tamale Technical University, Kumasi Technical University, Cape Coast Technical University, Sunyani Technical University, Ho Technical University, Bolga Polytechnic and Wa Polytechnic finished fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh, eighth, ninth and tenth respectively on the medal table.

The women’s team of Takoradi Technical University were adjudged the overall best women’s team, while ATU men’s team were crowned the overall best men’s team.


Professor Kwesi Yankah, Minister of State in charge of Tertiary Education, in his remarks at the closing ceremony held at the Accra Sports Stadium, was grateful to the Local Organising Committee for making the games very successful.

He stressed the important role of sports in promoting discipline among students and urged students to put up good behaviour in their respective endeavors.

Professor Edmund Ameko, Vice- Chancellor of Accra Technical University, in his remarks, congratulated all participating athletes and stated that every athlete has been a winner during the games and was delighted with the successful hosting of the games.

Tamale Technical University will host the next edition of the GHATUSA games slated for 2021.

2019 National Cross-Country Saw Yakubu and Abdulai Emerge Best Athletes

Malik Yakubu of the Ashanti region and Ramata Abdulai from the Upper West Region, toppled their male and female counterparts respectively at this year’s National Cross Country, that took place in Mpohor in the Western Region.

The 2019 National Cross Country, saw six male and female athletes respectively from each region compete for honours in a 10 kilometer race.

Mr. Curtis Perry Okudjeto, Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports, in his address on behalf of sector Minister, Isaac Kwame Assiamah stated that, it was the Ministry’s mandate to use sports as a major tool for job creation, recreation, education and to a larger extent crime prevention, hence the government led by H.E Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo’s, was building multipurpose youth and sports resource centers in every region to serve as a hub, where sports men and women can find the space to develop their sporting talents.

He stated that this year, Government would support more of such sporting activities as Ghana, kick start preparation towards the All Africa Games in 2023.

Professor Peter Twumasi, the Director General of the National Sports Authority (NSA), said the competition, which was last organized in 2010 was aimed at unearthing talents, who could best represent the nation in long distance events at both local and international competitions.

He said the NSA was determined to revive all dormant sporting events and the cross country competition was just a curtain raiser for a busy 2019 sports calendar.

He congratulated the athletes for the good performance displayed in the event and also used the occasion to thank the sponsors,which includes the Ministry of Youth and Sports, Ghana Gas, John Sani Foundation, Ambassador George Lutterodt among others, who supported the event in diverse ways.

Dignitaries who graced the occasion include the Omanhene of Wassa Mpohor traditional area, Kontihene of Wassa Mpohor, Member of Parliament for Mpohor constituency, Municipal Chief Executive Officer of Mpohor, a former Western Regional Minister among others.

Ebony Reigns: 1 Year After Her Passing

A priceless dancehall gem, a sensational act, a great performer, a prelude to one of Ghana’s indefatigable acts – Priscilla Opoku-Kwarteng, popular known as Ebony Reigns, whose demise a year ago erupted a feeling of despair among Ghanaians.

Just about a year ago, a catastrophic news struck Ghana, when the Afro-beat and Dancehall artiste, Ebony was involved in an accident, with two friends as music loving fans from all and sundry were left anguished.

It was certainly not the first time a young budding talent had being involved in a tragic incident in Ghana, but her demise triggered a huge gap in the entertainment circles.

Ebony exploded onto the music scene in 2015, with her maiden single ”Dancefloor” as she became an instant hit, due to her uniqueness.

She established her dominance over her counterparts dropping back to back hits, as she became the undisputed Queen of Dancehall and Afro-pop music.

Ebony always strive hard to deliver the best to her fans, as she put in hard work to produce lovely tunes.

She locked horns with the big wigs in the music industry and demonstrated her dancehall rap prowess to the world, which won her multiple awards, both on the local and international stage.
Ebony was a pertinent factor in the rejuvenation of Ghanaian music especially among female artistes, as she led and paved and was an inspiration to many.

It’s very glaring Ebony’s departure has taken away a certain spark about Ghanaian music and showbiz in its entirety.

Her father Nana Opoku Kwarteng, in an interview with GNA Entertainment, eulogized the uniqueness of his daughter’s talent, but believed she still lived on.

”Her demise dealt us a huge blow, because her personality was so lovely and I would love Ghanaians to remember my daughter for her passion for music and giving to the needy and vulnerable in society.

Ebony’s style was certainly unique, which made stood out in the music industry and her music legacy would forever remain relentless and she still lives on, ” he stated.

Ebony father also revealed that, series of activities have been put in place to commensurate her one year anniversary as well as her birthday.

”I will entreat Ghanaians to come in their numbers as we remember my daughter in March, as we catch a feeling her old songs and the new ones yet to released,” he said.

In concluding, is very sad the stardom of ‘golden tree” has been cut short by death, but Ebony’s immortality shall forever reign in the music annals of Ghana.

Obaapa Christy’s Album Launch Slated for March

Rev. Obaapa Christy, a veteran gospel musician, is set to release her 11th career album on March 17, at the International Central Gospel Church (ICGC) Holy Ghost Temple, Adenta – Frafraha.

Under the label of Francoba Management, the award winning gospel artiste has six songs on this album titled ”W’agye Me” which translates in English as ”He has saved me”.

The ”W’sua me” hit single, which has gained massive airplay over the past few months is on the yet to be album.

In an interview with GNA Entertainment, Rev. Obaapa Christy revealed that, the song, eulogizes the good work of Almighty God in her life considering her background.

“If I look at the place we are coming from, we just have to praise his name for bringing us this far and ask for continues blessing from God.

“I anticipate that, my upcoming album will help touch lives and draw people closer to their creator,” she said.

The album which comprises of both praises and worship contains six tracks which includes ”Amen”, ”W’agye Me”, ”I Am Coming Out”, ”W’ asue Me”, ”Aseda Nwom” and ”Ma Enye Yie”.

Kwadwo Nkansah popular known in the music and acting circles as ”Lil Win” is set to release another gospel bang with Brother Sammy on February 7, 2019.

The title of the song ”Nyame Nyhira” which translates in English as the ”Blessings from God” is produced by renowned beatmaker ”K.C Beatz”.

This single by the ”Anointing” hitmaker is the first to be released this year by his own record label ”Wezzy Empire” a growing brand in the music industry.

Lil Win, who is adored by many for his versatility in the showbiz industry, is expected to release another single with award winning artiste, Samini, in the next coming month.

Commey and Lomachenko Bout Slated for April

New International Boxing Federation (IBF) Lightweight Champion, Richard Commey (28-2, 25 Ko’s) will face Vasiliy Lomachenko (12-1,9 Ko’s) in a unification bout in April 12, 2019.

Commey handed Russia’s Isa Chaniev a round two knockout, to annexed the vacant IBF Lightweight title at the Ford Centre in Frisco, Texas, USA.

Commey, thus becomes Ghana’s ninth Champion, would now have the chance for unification when he faces Ukraine’s Lomachenko, the top pound-for-pound contender and World Boxing Organization(WBO) and World Boxing Authority (WBA) title holder.

Commey demonstrated of his determination to win the title for his motherland having missing out on his first opportunity against Robert Easter Jr. in 2016.

Commey does become the third Ghanaian to win an IBF title with Joshua Clottey and Joseph Agbeko being the other two winners.

The 31-year-old boxer could also make history for Ghana, as he could become the first Champion to hold three titles among the three sanctioning bodies in the same weight class in he wins the next fight.

The World boxing entourage will be highly anticipating this fascinating pairing between Commey and Lomachenko considering their explosive style of boxing.

Prof. Twumasi Advise NSA Turn Away from The Courts

Professor Peter Twumasi, Director General of the National Sports Authority (NSA), has urged sporting federations to find ways of resolving their internal wranglings, other than resorting to the law courts.

Sports federations under the NSA, has over the years been affected by series of law suits and counter suits, a situation that has affected the progress and development of these federations.

According to the new NSA Boss, this wranglings within the associations, hinder the progress of our athletes, especially the young ones as they are hugely affected.

Speaking at the launch of 44th Sports Writers Association of Ghana (SWAG) awards, Professor Twumasi, reiterated the mandate of the NSA, which is to support, manage and promote the sport in the country but stated how this wranglings is continually becoming a stumbling block to the development of sports.

“We should put all differences aside and focus on the development and nurture the talents we have been blessed with,” he said.

He added, “Ghana has abundant of talent in the country, but the problem is, that we don’t have the coaches to help nurture them to realize the potential.

Professor Twumasi, also announced the resumption of national cross country event, which would kick start from February 2-9, 2019 in Mpohor in the Western Region.

The Ghana Taekwondo Federation, Ghana Cycling Federation, Ghana Volleyball Federation, Ghana Athletics Association, have legal cases hanging on their necks over years.

Fancy Gadam Drops a Single on peace and Love

Mujahid Ahmed Bello, also known in showbiz as “Fancy Gadam”, has released a new song title “Abudu Andani”.

The new single produced by Dr. Fiza, turns focus on recent happenings in Dagbon especially with the enskinment of the new Ya-Na, Yoo Naa Abukari Mahama VII.

In an interview with GNA Entertainment, the multiple award winner was delighted with recent happening in the Dagbon Traditional Area and had to do a song to help strengthen the peace among Abudu’s and Andani’s.

Bisa Set to Tour Europe This March

Roland Kwaku Dei Appiah known in showbiz as “Bisa Kdei”, is set embark on an European tour, in March.

The multiple award winning singer, would stage series of concerts across Europe, with the main aim of reviving Ghanaian Highlife.

The concert is also aimed at connecting more with the fans base of Bisa Kdei and to thrill them with his new hit songs.

The sensational musician last had a successful Europe tour, but couldn’t complete the tour due to some challenges.

Bidemi Titilayo Babajare, known on stage as “Tt Babs” has released her first career album.

The album titled ”Thank You Jesus” would thrill gospel music loving fans, with praises and worship songs.

K.K. Fosu, a veteran highlife musician, is set to drop another song on Saturday, 26 January,2019, which features one of Ghana’s finest rappers, Dadie Opanka.
