Thomas Boakye Agyeman, a celebrated sports journalist in Kumasi, has been appointed as the Media Officer of the Commission of Enquiry into the Brazil 2014 world Cup.
?Thomas Boakye- Agyeman has been appointed as the public Affairs/Media Officer of the commission,? a released signed by Justice Senyo Dzamefe, Chairman of the commission, stated.
Popularly called Tom Kruger in media circles, Boakye-Agyeman, aside his deep knowledge in sports, also has a legal background.
According to snippets of information gathered by DAILY GUIDE SPORTS, Tom Kruger ?s legal background in particular influenced the commission members in settling on him as media officer.
Since most of the matters that would be discussed or conveyed to the public might have some legal connotations, the commission wanted a person who knows legal matters to serve as its public affairs manager.
Tom Kruger had been practicing as a sports journalist for several years. He is a household name in Kumasi where he works with Fox FM, a sister station of Hot FM in Accra.
Described by his colleagues as highly intelligent and hard working, Tom Kruger has traveled across the globe to cover major international sporting activities
