The introduction of Subah’s World GSM technology has become necessary because of the heavy capital outlay that Mobile Telcos need to pour out in other to make their services available to the rural dweller.

A mast, genset maintenance and other equipment will have to be provided before telephone services reach many remote parts of a country. As a result many rural areas not only only in Ghana but many parts of African Countries lack these essential services.

The Parliamentary Select Committee on Communication and the media heard this progress when the Company took its turn to educate them on the progress it has achieved in this direction. The forum also gave the media an opportunity to clarify issues pertaining to Sabah’s operations.

Traditional GSM Telephony deployment is an expensive investment. With these high capital expenditure and considerable operating costs per tower, it has been one of the reasons there is a gap in telephony provision services in the rural areas and even in the some urban areas.To assist bridge these imbalance of rural /urban telephony gap, another first has been achieved with the introduction of this technology by Subah Info-solutions into the country.
