Prophet calls for environmental cleanliness

Prophet Moses Opare, Local Leader of Mango Lane Prayer Centre of the Christ Apostolic Church International, has added his voice to the call on Ghanaians to observe environmental cleanliness.

 Christ Apostolic Church InternationalHe noted that the cholera outbreak, which killed many people, could have been avoided, if Ghanaians had changed their mentality and desisted from choking the gutters with garbage, defecating at open places and adopted hand washing practices.

Prophet Opare was speaking at the opening of a five-day conference of the Church at Ashongman, near Madina in the Greater Accra Region on Monday.

The Conference under the theme ?Miracle and Deliverance? is aimed at praying for peace and stability of the nation and also provide participants with spiritual enlightenment to enable them to overcome challenges.

Prophet Opare charged the youth to desist from acts such as internet fraud, drug-abuse, indiscipline and other forms of negative tendencies that may ruin their lives and urged them to rely on God for their needs.

He urged drivers to take their passengers to their destination safely, saying ?you should eschew driving under the influence of alcohol?.

The Local Leader advised his colleague men of God to preach the unadulterated word of God and desist from indulging in acts that may bring the clergy into disrepute.

On social responsibility, he said the church was in the process of acquiring a large tract of land to put up school and hospital to cater for the educational and health needs of the poor and the needy.

Prophet Opare expressed the hope that the participants would take the conference seriously and achieve their target.
