New Ghana coach Avram Grant has promised to scout for local talents when the Ghana Premier League gets into session.

The Israeli hopes to open doors for key performers in the domestic top-flight during his reign in-charge of the Black Stars.
Only locally based goalkeepers have only been the beneficiaries of call-ups but outfield players have barely had a look.
Grant is determined to see the trend reversed in the 27 months of his tenure.
?I will be [in Ghana] to watch the local league a lot. I want to see them, so I will scout in the local league a lot and those who deserve a chance will have it,? the former Chelsea manager said.
?I will be very happy to see players that I think will help the national team. I also want to contribute to the development of the game here.?
