The President of the republic of Ghana, His Excellency John Dramani Mahama has cautioned Muslim-Youth at Zongo communities across the country to desist from pursuing monies from the charlatan politicians to create violence this election year.

H.E John Dramani Mahama said this at the independence square in Accra during the grand prayers by Muslims led by the National Chief Imam Sheikh Dr. Nuhu Sharubutu which was as part of the Eid Fitri celebration.

The president remarked that most politicians look up to Zongo communities for macho men for violence.? He cautioned them to reject their offers when such people approach them with money.

?Politicians who have schemed to use Zongo youth as instruments to generate and fuel war should think abut other alternative but not Muslims youth.

H.E. John Dramani Mahama tell politicians According to him, he is committed to peace, during and after the elections adding that Ghana will experience a peaceful ever elections on December.

He commended the efforts by Muslims youth who in diverse ways contributed in making the funeral rite of the late President a success.

He hinted that Ramadan is a festival of exchanging Peace and good will message adding that such messages should not only exist in the month of Ramadan but should transcend to? all the months.

Meanwhile, Alhaji Mohammed Gado, the spokesperson of the Chief Imam congratulated the incumbency if the nation for contributing gallantly to the pilgriment of Muslims to Mecca.

He also called on Politicians from other parties to also engage in activities that will promote peace and unity among themselves and their followers thereby urging them to eschew politics of insult.
