The Yagbonwura, Bui Kunuto Soale Jewu, has expressed his displeasure and disappointment with Samuel Abu Jinapor, Member of Parliament for Damongo, for failing to facilitate the arrest of certain Gonja Chiefs.
Sources in Damongo revealed that the Yagbonwura had also requested a Land Cruiser vehicle from the MP, which was declined.
When reached for comment, the MP, who serves as Minister for Lands and Natural Resources and has cabinet oversight of the Ministry of Energy, confirmed the chief’s request but chose not to elaborate further.
