The World Bank will provide additional funding to help enhance and improve the quality of education in Zambia.

World Bank Global Director Education Jaime Saavedra made the remarks when he met with Zambia’s Minister of General Education David Mabumba, according to a press release.

“There is progress on the additional funding for Zambia. We will continue giving support to Zambia,” he said. “There is hope that things will move fast.”

Zambia is currently implementing a credit facility of 60 million U.S. dollars from the World Bank to improve the country’s education system. Enditem
