Work on the 2000 capacity stadium in Techiman is swiftly ongoing ahead of the 2015/16 Premier League season as the Zone One Division One champions aim at causing a stir in the league.

Techiman City who sealed a qualification into the top-flight division have adopted the Techiman Park as their home ground when the league starts.

Political figureheads in the area have joined forces, regardless of their party affiliations, to ensure that the park is completed on time.

Former Aduana Stars and AshGold management member, Kofi Manu, together with the Sports Development Officer Baba Fuseini as well as the Municipal Chief Executive for the area was there to inspect the facility.

Works at the 2000-capacitystadium started last month and it seems the facility will be ready before the Ghana premier league officially takes off.

Techiman City FC topped the Zone One Division One League table to secure qualification into the Ghana Premier League after a protest filed against the side by WA African United fell through.
