The event offered about 60 Ghanaians an opportunity to have a new experience of doing something different, something they haven?t done before.

Mrs Fatima Alimohamed, General Manager Commercial, Wilmar Africa, told the Ghana News Agency in an interview that ?Frytol believes that there is positivity in everything that happens and since it is a brand tied to every home, it must share in every joy and sadness of its consumers?.

She said Ghanaians should look at the positive side of the ?dumsor?, as it was an opportunity to spend quality time with their family, a time not interrupted by the television, radio or a fully charged phone.

She said through the customer activation period a lot of activities were organised including ?Tales from Ananse?, ?Anopa, Awia ne Enyumre? meaning (Morning, Afternoon and Evening) and an ?oware? tournament.

Mrs Alimohamed said Frytol believes that people need to support and encourage to boost their confidence.

She said the organisation has initiated a pilot project for the disabled in the country to empower them, ?we shall provide them tricycles to create employment for them?.

She called on other corporate organisation to support the youth with employable skills to enable them contribute to the development of the nation.
