Didi joined Kotoko in 2012 after making history with the Black Maidens in the under 17 women world cup. The Black Maidens became the first African side to win a medal at the under 17 women world cup by winning bronze medal.

Shortly after taking over the coaching job of Kotoko, he brought a lot of professionalism and prestige to the club. Didi won the 2012-2013 premier league with Asante Kotoko in Didi’s first year with the club. Didi consequently won the 2013-2014 league with Asante Kotoko and he also won the MTN FA Cup in the same season.

Didi has won a lot of personal awards, Didi won the coach of year in the 2013-2014 season, He also won the 2012 SWAG Coach of the year.

Recently it seems Didi’s days of glory are running out at Asante Kotoko. Didi is under a lot of pressure after a poor start to the season. The pressure heightened when Kotoko lost to their main rivals Hearts of Oak at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium. The supporters were expecting a compensating win at Obuasi when Kotoko played away to Ashgold unfortunately for Didi Dramani and his Kotoko side they lost by 2-1 to Ashgold. The experienced and well skilled coach will have a decision to make.
