Bangladesh is from South Asia & Ghana is from West Africa. There is a long distance between two countries, a lot of difference in culture, religion, tradition. But there is a lovely relationship between them. So the question is mandatory, why Bangladeshi people love Ghana?

Historically Bangladesh and Ghana relationship is very old. More than forty years. Ghana had recognized Bangladesh as an independent country on December 8, 1972. Bangladeshi people saw Ghana as ‘African heaven’. They enjoy warm diplomatic relations and both are interested to strengthen it further.

Both the countries have been exchanging business and official delegations and have been holding trade fairs to boost the bilateral economic cooperation. Bangladeshi investors have interest to invest in Ghana because of its strategic location in West Africa and steady economic growth.

“We love Ghanaian footballers because of their excellent performance in the field. They have been regularly playing for various major Bangladeshi football clubs. Bangladesh has now become one of the most favorite destinations for Ghanaian footballers willing to play overseas,” said Jamal Bhuiya, a well-known Bangladeshi footballer.

Engr. Manik Sarkar, a business man of Bangladesh said, ”Ghana will always hold a special place in our hearts. This is a beautiful country and always bring a vibrant, fun-loving, and intelligent crew of people to share our love! It doesn’t take long to realize why we keep coming back, but here are a few of our reasons.”

“Bangladesh-Ghana are true friends. We feel and see Ghanaian as valuable friendly and brotherly country,” added Pramathesh Shil, a Bangladeshi Journalist.

  1. this is some very good news ive never thought about until i met a ladyfreind that lives in Ghana especially about cashew farming

  2. Truth be told, only reason Bangladeshis know about Ghana is because of a infamous Bangladeshi celebrity named Ananta Jalil, who was mocked in social media for having ridiculous English accent. I think he said something like “You Pom Gana?” during an interview.
