Samuel Paa Kwesi Fabin, the head coach of the Black Starlets of Ghana, has said his side is going to fight to clinch the Youth Championship trophy, after securing qualification to the FIFA Under-17 World Cup in India.

In a post match interview, coach Fabin said they would go into the final group game against Guinea, with the same attitude, although they have already achieved their main target.

“We have qualified to the World Cup, which was our main target, now we are going to fight to annex the trophy.

“We are going to play our final game with the same attitude, although we would give chance to other players, who have not featured so far.

“I would want to thank Ghanaians for their unflinching support to this team, we know they are happy with our performance so far and we are grateful for that.

“They should continue to pray and support us to bring the trophy back home, ” he said.
