The Volta Region is set to host a major corporate event as institutions prepare for Corporate Bites 2026, a unique cooking and games showdown designed to promote teamwork, networking, and corporate engagement.
The event will take place on Friday, March 20, at the Ho Sports Stadium, running from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Eight corporate institutions will compete in a friendly culinary contest while also participating in games aimed at strengthening collaboration and fostering healthy competition among organisations in the region.
Beyond the cooking competition, the programme will feature health screenings, live band performances, a vibrant Borborbor cultural display, and corporate exhibitions. Participating institutions will also hold educational sessions, giving them the chance to showcase their services and interact directly with the public.
The maiden edition will be organised on a rotational hosting basis, with the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) serving as host for 2026. Organisers say the initiative seeks to combine entertainment, corporate visibility, wellness, and cultural celebration while strengthening ties between institutions and the communities they serve.
Members of the public, corporate organisations, and stakeholders have been invited to join the historic first edition, which is being held under the theme “Cook. Compete. Connect.”
