VOiCE in Community Empowerment, a Non- Governmental Organisation (NGO) has officially inducted new leaders who have been managing the affairs of the organisation since its inception in 2010.

Staffs and new staffs were officially sworn in for positions such as the Council of Elders represented by the Assemblyman for Nima East electoral area, Hon. Alhaji Shareu Tajudeen, Hon. Hajia Damata Alhassan as Chairperson and others.

The Board of Directors includes a serving member, Ahmed Mustapha, the Board Chairman and other outstanding personalities.

Other portfolio includes management team and Coordinators who are responsible for the day to day activities of the organisation.

Speaking at the ceremony, the Assemblyman for Kanda electoral area, Hon. Basit Osman charged the newly sworn-in executives to commit their totality and efforts towards the development of the Nima-Maamobi communities.

He urged members of VOiCE to voice to accord respect and support the new management team so that they can achieve their core objectives to develop and better the living conditions in the Nima Maamobi communities and it environs.

The Chairperson of VOiCE, Hon. Hajia Damata Alhassan advised the executives to engage elders of the community by inviting them to them programmes and events so they can be informed to understand the numerous achievements of the organization.

She therefore urged members to consistently wash their hands properly in order to prevent any ebola infection since hand sanitizer is not guaranteed for preventing ebola transmission.
