Nii Lantey Vanderpuye gave the endorsement when peace ambassador Stephen Appiah, accompanied by Laryea Kinston, Ibrahim Tanko, Tony Baffour and primeval media paid a courtesy call on him at his office to officially invite him to the two leg matches in Kumasi and Accra.

The Minister thanked Primeval, Vodafone and Appiah for the idea of using football as a universal language to foster peace and unity before, during and after the general elections and lauded the initiative.

“It is a giant step from a giant role model to the younger generation, it is a noble objective for all Ghanaians to support and I wish you the best and you can count on us for any support.”

A host of international stars have confirmed their participation to honour the games against Kumasi Asante Kotoko on June 8 at the Kumasi sports stadium and the senior national team, Black Stars on June 11 at the Accra sports stadium.
