An early morning battle leaves at least two dead

Two suspected Boko Haram members have been reportedly killed following an exchange of gunfire between suspected sect members and the Joint Task Force. 

This morning soldiers attacked a location being used as a hideout by the Islamists and engaged them in a gun battle leaving the two suspects dead.

Following this, a powerful bomb exploded in the Gaskiya area of the city.
