The streets of Venice are water channels, which is navigable by gondolas and other craft. Within hours of daylight canals, bridges and streets of Venice is full of tourists eager to discover the romance of the big tourist attraction. As night takes over the city, tourists can enjoy a wonderful dinner in one of the many restaurants, leaving the streets and waterways, flat-bottomed boat tranquilles.La gondola is a traditional Venetian rowing, well adapted to the Venice lagoon. For centuries gondolas were once the main means of transport and the most common watercraft within Venice. Today, the iconic boats still in its share of public transport in the city, being ships of the Grand Canal. They also used a special regatta (rowing races) between the gondoliers. Their main task is, however, the tourists rides through canals. Gondolas are hand made using 8 different types of wood (fir, oak, cherry, walnut, elm, mahogany, larch and lime) and consist of 280 pieces. Trains are beech. The left is longer than the right side of the gondola. This asymmetry causes the gondola to resist a tendency to turn to the left of the stroke. Venetian masks are a centuries-old tradition of Venice. Masks are usually worn during the Carnival in Venice, but they are used for many other occasions in the past, the most common way to hide the bearer of identity and social status. Mask allows the user to operate more freely than he wants to communicate with other members of society outside the boundaries of identity and everyday convention. It was therefore useful for different purposes, some of them illegal or criminal, others just personal, such as romantic encounters.
