As the world rise in Unanimous Condemnation of the abduction of the over 200 school girls at the Government Secondary School, Chibok, Borno State, the Speaker, Imo State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Benjamin Uwajumogu, has joined patriotic Nigerians in calling for the unconditional release of the girls.

?In an interview with Journalists in Owerri last weekend, the Speaker condemned the attack on defenseless school children, describing it callous, despicable and man?s inhumanity to his fellow man.

?I still can?t figure out such a despicable and inhuman treatment to a fellow man. This is absolutely callous and should be condemned by every Nigerian. How could somebody seal his conscience to the extent of keeping those innocent girls in the forest for over a month without any remourse? Indeed, it?s an agitation taken too far and must be resisted by Nigerians irrespective of tribe and religion?, he submitted.

?Rt. Hon. Uwajumogu, further solicited for prayers from the clergy and other religious bodies for the good health conditions of the girls, noting that with God all things are possible.

??We cannot deny the fact that this is a critical moment and trying time for this Country, and the only antidote to run to when it seems all hopes are lost is God. This is why our people should be persistent in prayers because we don?t know the condition of those small girls wherever they are now. But we know with God all things are possible?, he enthused.
